چکیده

Wireless sensor network is an ad hoc network. Each sensor is defined with limited energy. Wireless sensor node deployed into the network to monitor the physical or environmental condition such as temperature, sound, vibration at different location. Each node collected the information than transmit to the base station. The data is transfer over the network each sensor consume some energy in receiving data, sending data. The lifetime of the network depend how much energy spent in each transmission. The protocol play important roll, which can minimize the delay while offering high energy efficiency and long span of network lifetime. One of such protocol is PEGASIS, it is based on the chain structure, every chain have only one cluster head, it is in charge with every note's receiving and sending messages who belong to this chain, the cluster head consumes large energy and the times of every round increasing. In PEGASIS, it take the advantage of sending data to it the closet neighbor, it save the battery for WSN and increase the lifetime of the network. The proposed work is about to select the next neighboring node reliably. For this it will combine few parameters such as Distance, Residual Energy and Response time. The proposed system will increase the overall communication and increase the network life. Keyword: WSN, energy, node.

An Improved PEGASIS Routing Protocol Based on Neural Network and Ant Colony Algorithm

This paper proposes a routing protocol for the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). It is a protocol based on the PEGASIS protocol but using an improved ant colony algorithm and neural network rather than the greedy algorithm to build the chain. Compared with the original PEGASIS, the ACON-PEG can achieve a global optimization. It forms a chain that makes the path more even-distributed and the total ...

Chain-Chain Based Routing Protocol

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is an emerging technology for monitoring physical world. WSNs consist of large numbers of sensor nodes operated by battery mostly in harsh environment. Thus energy conservation is a primary issue for organization of these sensor nodes. Another crucial issue is the data delivery time by sensor nodes to the sink node, especially in Military, medical fields, and secur...

Maximizing the Lifetime of Multi-chain PEGASIS using Sink Mobility

In this paper, we propose the mobility of a sink in improved energy efficient PEGASIS-based protocol (IEEPB) to advance the network lifetime of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The multi-head chain, multi-chain concept and the sink mobility affects largely in enhancing the network lifetime of wireless sensors. Thus, we recommend Mobile sink improved energy-efficient PEGASIS-based routing protoc...
